Founded as a not-for-profit corporation in 1984, the Dolphin Research Center is a unique education and research facility. Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions currently live at the center.
The dolphin and sea lion families live in ninety thousand square feet of pristine seawater lagoons with low fences separating them from the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Regularly scheduled narrated sessions will teach you about these families, each session demonstrating a different aspect of these animals' lives. See everything from high-flying athletics and Dolphin Fun Facts to medical behavior training and research-in-progress!
The Center is open to the public seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
